February 3, 2006: a picture of the North Shore Mountains

No snow in the city, but lots of nice fresh snow in the mountains overlooking Vancouver. This picture was taken from Kits Beach, using my new telephoto lens. This is the first picture taken with the lens to be posted here. Notice the clouds are coming in after a spell of clear skies in the morning.

I'll tell you about a little qualm of mine that I see on photography sites way too much. The singular of lenses is lens! not lense!
