Meet David, sculpted by Michaelangelo between 1501, and 1504. Or rather, this is a copy of Dave. The original is residing at the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence. This one is sitting in the original spot on the Pallazzo Vecchio.
I took this photo whilst wandering randomly around Florence. The great thing is that it is entirely possible to wander aimlessly throughout the city centre and be lost for periods of time. The Duomo is visible from much of the city, and the river Arno can easily be used to find your way.
