The trees of Villa Pamphili
There are a number of parks in Rome, and my personal favorite is Villa Pamphili. It's not a tourist draw, and few tour books give more than a footnote to it. Because of this, it's almost solely visited by the locals. I love the ambiance, the relative quiet, and the fragrant trees You see in this photo.
We visited the park on our last evening in Rome, and Italy. It was a definite highlight of the trip.
